EM Lock (Electromagnetic Lock)
- Consists of an electromagnet and an iron armature plate.

Electric Strike Lock (Mortise Lock)
- Also referred to as a Mortise Lock.
- Works via an electromechanical actuator connected to a swivel tongue.
- When powered, the actuator locks the swivel tongue, preventing door movement.
- A mechanical plunger, fixed on the door, plunges into the strike mechanism, locking the door automatically.
- Compatible with wooden, metal, or aluminum frame doors.
